Tutorials (Tuesday) Tutorials are formally prepared sessions at which instructors teach conference participants specific usability or design skills. Session sizes range from 5 to 100 participants.
Workshops (Thursday) UXPA Workshops provide an active arena for advancements in the field of usability. Workshops provide the opportunity for experienced practitioners to develop new ideas about topics of common interest.
Posters (Friday) Posters, on display throughout the conference, present late-breaking results and new ideas or concepts in an informal, visual and interactive manner.
Idea Markets (Thursday) The Idea Market occurs in a single room with multiple "activators" who simultaneously promote interaction about "burning questions" in usability and user-centered designs.
Presentations (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) Focus on a practitioner's ideas and experience with usability methods, skills, philosophy, design, business case studies, or other relevant topics. Presentations include general 60-minute sessions, Unconference, Ignite, and Panel sessions.
Speakers (Opening, Closing and Invited) The Invited Speakers track brings professionals from other disciplines to share their insights and experiences. These presentations will surprise us, challenge us, and make us think about ways our profession is connected to other fields. Invited Speakers complement the more pragmatic offerings of the conference program, with sessions designed to stimulate new associations and relationships.
