Program and Theme
But the program won't just be about collaboration. We'll be showcasing methods, tools, and tips for UX practitioners. We'll have new voices and wizened advice. We'll have legends and pioneers. And we'll have a little something for everyone. We have high goals around quality - we really want you to find inspiration and insight in all the sessions you attend. We want you to have to make tough choices between which sessions you'll attend. We also have strong feelings about shared experiences. Some of the best learning moments at conferences come from the conversations you have with fellow attendees. We want to provide more opportunities for shared moments with more people and therefore more great conversations. We have a whole army of volunteers that are dedicated to providing a fantastic program. From reviewers, to the people who made sure that the blind review system was truly blind; from the committee members who reviewed the reviews, to the planning committee who starting filling time slots. There are hundreds of people who are committed to making UXPA DC a great conference. We hope you enjoy! This year's theme is collaboration. We want to talk about all the unique ways UX professionals collaborate to create better experiences. We want to illustrate all the partnerships we can create, all the connections we can make, and all the ways we can make those connections. We want to demonstrate what we can learn from other professions and what other professions can learn from UX. We want to give you exciting new speakers, different and intriguing perspectives, and a wider variety of topics than before, and we think that the theme of collaboration can enable us to do that.
