Washington, DC

We picked Washington, DC as one of the locations for the two UXPA International Conferences that are taking place in 2013 for 3 reasons:

1) It is the home of User Focus, an annual conference put on by UXPA DC.  User Focus always has great speakers, relevant topics, and is well-attended.  We're partnering with this local chapter and their awesome conference so that we can share resources, learn from one another, and have the ability to offer more than one main UXPA event in a given year.

2) DC is known for great food, great sights, great people, and great social opportunities.

3) DC helps us move toward our goal of emphasizing the "International" aspect of UXPA International.  15% of residents in the area speak languages other than English, and Washington DC is home to 11 colleges and universities that host more than 20,000 international students.

But it's not just the city...

We also have a fantastic space at the Washington, D.C. Hilton, a newly-renovated, contemporary, urban retreat near DC’s most sought-after neighborhoods.

Even better? Reserve your UXPA discounted Hilton sleeping room now! UXPA rate is $179/night July 7-13 (which is not too shabby for the DC area!).
